Assalamualaikum and Salam 1 Malaysia.
On behalf of the ICTMBE Organizing Committee, I am delighted to welcome all delegates and participants to UNESCO world heritage site, Melaka, where we host the 6th series of International Conference of Technology Management, Business and Entrepreneurship (ICTMBE 2017). This conference aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia as well as industry to present and discuss new trends in the fields of, not limited to, technology management, business, economics, finance, accounting, information technology, real estate, facilities management, construction and management and share knowledge, exchange experiences and disseminate ideas with its central theme of “Managing Technology Advancement for Economic Sustainability”.

This 6th ICTMBE series has received overwhelming response from authors who want to participate in this conference and we are glad to announce that all papers accepted to be presented in this conference, will be published in selected Journals as listed in the ICTMBE2017 official website. For this year, the authors have an alternative to publish their papers either in Scopus indexed journals or UTHM journals (non scopus indexed journals). I would like to extend my outmost appreciation to our honorable guests, Professor Ir. Dr Sha’ri Mohd Yusof, Professor, UTM Razak School of Engineering and Advanced Technology, UTM and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Patmawati Ibrahim, Head of Department of Management & Technology, UTHM for their willingness to participate as our keynote speakers for this conference. Special thanks also goes to Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Lizam Mohd Diah, Dean of Faculty of Technology Management and Business, UTHM for his support throughout the planning of this year’s conference, as well as in officiating this conference. I would also like to extend our appreciation and thanks to our finance manager, UTHM Commercial Sdn. Bhd. (UCSB) who has been providing the necessary support to make this event a reality. Lastly, I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to those who have directly or indirectly contributed their commitment and energy organizing this event especially to the organizing committees who have been working very hard for making this conference a great success. Finally, I hope all the delegates will have a good time and take advantage of the many sights to see in this charming and beautiful historical city during your stay here, in Melaka.
