Research Symposium
The Symposium evolved from our first conference, this bi-annual event of the FPTP will be held at OPERO Hotel JB. This year’s theme is “Humanising Technologies towards Sustainable Business and Economy”. In conjunction with the conference, a symposium on AI tools in Research will be conducted by Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Shahizan bin Othman from UTM. The symposium will provide a space for participants to discuss these important topics, share their research findings, and connect with others who are doing their research. ICTMBE 2025 and symposium aim to bring Malaysian and Overseas students together to inspire, share, and demonstrate their knowledge and ideas through critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills.

Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Shahizan bin Othman (UTM)
Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Shahizan Othman, a lecturer at the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), specializes in Applied Computing and Artificial Intelligence. As the head of the Intelligent Informatics Research Group (IIRG), he has over 20 years of experience in academia, excelling in teaching, research, publication, and administration. He has published over 70 indexed papers, supervised numerous postgraduate students. Dr. Shahizan actively shares resources on GitHub, focusing on data science, Python programming, and academic writing using tools. His contributions extend to organizing AI and technology workshops, such as those on generative AI in academic writing, further enriching the field of education and technology innovation.
